It has been a cold, gray April for the midwest. The last few weeks, in fact, have been 30 degrees nearly every single day without an ounce of rain, snow, flowers, or any sign of Spring.
I confess, despite it being April, I was overjoyed to see snow on the ground this morning. It made everything a little prettier.
This morning our friends brought over Greg’s best furry friend, Heidi. As they played like crazy in the backyard, I thought I would do a fun photoshoot in the snow. It was the perfect start to a crazy day of school!
I hope these two adorable puppies bring some joy to your Monday!

I hope it warms up soon, don’t you? But I agree that snow is definitely better than just grayness.
Have a blessed week!

Thank you so much!
I usually prefer the cold weather, but this winter the cold and grey seems to be lingering on forever. And I’m tired of bundling up! So yes, I definitely am looking forward to some warmer Spring weather. But I know God has weather in His hands. Spring will eventually come! ❤

Oh, your puppy and Heidi are the cutest little doggies! Is Heidi part dachshund? I love those, they’re so cute! 😀 If found your blog through your article “We’re Free to Celebrate Because of the Cross” in the GoodNews Northwest, I absolutely loved it and was encouraged by it! 😀

Aw, thanks! I think they’re pretty cute, too. Heidi is part dachshund. Her owners were originally told she was a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix, however, she is 10 months, pretty much stopped growing around 7 months, and is clearly part dachshund. 😀 She is so pretty either way. Greg, on the other hand, is only 3 months and is definitely part Golden Retriever. ❤
You have no idea how happy this comment made me! Thank you so much for sharing how you found my blog. I am glad you liked my article in GoodNews Northwest!

Aww, haha, that would be funny, a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever who is that small! 😉 Greg is super cute too, I love pupppies. 🙂 I have a dog, he’s a Norwegian Elkhound mixed with Black Lab and he has a curly tail, he’s all black. He’s about 3 years old and SO cute and likes to grunt, hahaha! 🙂
Aww, I’m so glad! I really did love your article, it was so true! So easily we can get trapped in chains, completely forgetting that we are FREE in Christ! 😀

I like dogs, and I like winter snow. Put those two together and that is a winning combination. The tan doggie is quite the serious looking one.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Yes, snow and dogs are a great combination.
The little tan pup, Greg, has such a big personality for such a little guy! He is 7 months now and still has the most inquisitive face– I guess that’s part of the reason my family and I named him Greg! His face is almost human-like with all his funny expressions and big personality. 😉
